Jinxed?

Maybe. Or maybe it’s something else. But somehow, I have this constant confrontation with creatures of cadaverous and inanimate nature. Without fail, almost every time I go out, alone or with my friends, I’m bound to see something dead. Weird?

The first time it happened, it was an owl. I think it fell of a branch and just died cause it was sort of sitting up. It became my usual landmark for about a month till none but bones remained. These sightings became increasingly frequent. Once was with Daniel, walking through the car park I saw a dead rat. Before I could do anything, Daniel went ahead and stepped on it unknowingly. After his ‘reaction’, there in front of us was a dead frog.

Another time was with the whole jinn gang. On the way to Tanjung there was this huge crow lying dead by the side of the road. If I remember correctly, an eye was missing. No one dared to poke it though. The other times, I came across a dead snake, a flattened snake, several dead frogs and a monitor lizard. Quite a history if I might add, and all in their various stages of decomposition.

Whether it’s a curse or not, it happened again today. Was walking with Rach to Tanjung and I saw this dead cat by a tree. I told Rach but she insisted it was the bark of the tree. That was until she saw the flies buzzing around. At that sight, she made an incredible sprint. So anyway on the way back, I was contemplating the morality of moving a lifeless creature. The sadistic side won with influence from Rach who was cowering a few trees behind.

 Took a stick and tried rolling it over. It was numb, hard, almost like an over compressed beanie pillow and was to some extent, crunchy. It took four sticks to turn the cat. When I did, all along while blue bottle flies as big as peanuts were flying around, I saw the face of a creature dead. Imagine unmasking the Phantom of the Opera.

 It was undistinguishable that it was cat. Whatever fur that was not gone was damp and wet. A hotel for decomposers. Maggots twice the size of the flies crawled in and out of its ear with more spawning overflowing from its mouth and eating into its stomach all while the flies and ants explored its mouth.

Its paw was somewhat half eaten. And it wreaked the stench of rotting flesh. Couldn’t help but to take a few pics.

Cursed by the many frogs and rats I cut open unhesitantly? A calling to be a coroner? Or just an opportunity to bask in a field of interest. But with each feeling of disgust and nausea, there’s that of curiosity and sadistic fascination.  Screwed up? Who knows?

Normal day, same old same old. UNTIL...Ming Yik calls me and asks me to help him check if he was chosen for National Service. So ok la. Google search for LPKN and clicked the first link i saw. Getting the IC number from the nervous MY i typed it in and teng teng teng teng...."Nombor KP anda tidak terdapat dalam senarai yang terpilih". Then i tried mine pulak...this is what i got....

Visit to PAWS

Alright, so yesterday, Rachel, Joanne, Wei Gui and I went to paws. Paws is an animal shelter somewhere next to Ara Damansara (I'm not even sure where that is). We got there early; bout 8:30. They open at 9.=.=. So We had to wait outside for bout half an hour watching the cars go by. After a while, one of the workers let us in and we played with the puppies abit. Rachel let a puppy bite onto a leash and started walking it...

After some time, the boss came in and we went to register. Apparently, since we didn't make an appointment (we tried calling a Wednesday but no one answered..) and they were fully booked. The guy was "politely" saying 'Get the hell out of here!!! We don't need you here'. So, we were like fine fine and left. Hungry, we went in search of food. We walked down the road looking for shop lots. After what seemed to be forever, we reached a the "stripmall" - new shop lots (i know what you were thinking). There was only one shop there, a mamak shop. So Jo was like got summore inside one. So fine. Jo led the way. Eventually leading us to more empty shop lots and a Pemborong Minuman Keras. There was also an escalator leading down and Wei Gui ran to it saying Subway! Subway!....it was a parking lot...

After wondering around abit, we found the way out and Jo (the smart one that she is) wanted to go for an adventure. So we turned right after coming out from the stipmall to continue down the road till we saw some big building with a football field and basket ball court. Jo was shouting Apit! Apit! my cousin works there. So we walked to it la. It turned out to be RapidKL HQ...

Can't go there. So we walked out once again. There was this other junction leading to a school. We took it at Jo's advice. Wei Gui was looking forward to the canteen and Rach was imagining hot guys there. After walking half way, we realized SHIT! its school holidays. Theres no one there.(funny?) So we made our way back to the mamak shop (not letting Jo decide anymore) where we had breakfast. We ordered normal stuff la. But when Rach and Jo's milo came, well it didn't taste like milo or anything like milo. Only looked like it.

So anyway, my idea was to go back and see if that SMKSJ would be there. If not we could take over till they arrived. So they all made me call to check. So i did la. Changed my voice to ask to make bookings. Still canot. By the time I was done, Rach paid for breakfast...ahahaha...xD..thks btw. So we decided to call Cai. See if we could follow him to Pyramid. But Jo say canot. Her mum might be there and blablabla la so no more plan B. Rach called her dad to come pick us up. And we went back to the PAWS there to wait for him.

So, while we were waiting outside, Jo almost lost her foot; She slumber only put her foot in the middle of the road and Wei Gui's paper became and aeroplane by my hand. Not long later, that same guy came out. "Erm, SMKSJ just called to cancel are you guys still interested to help?" HAAHAHAH...my prediction came true. So yea...we went in and registered. But lol, we all had the form except Wei Gui. So the lady admin called up his mum who told her that Wei Gui would need to wear a mask and gloves...LOL...He just ended up not washing the dogs.

So anyhow, we went to pick our dogs. I chose this easy going shaggy dog. Rachel got this hyperactive black and white dog. Jo gota scruffy looking dog and Wei Gui got a brown paria looking dog. So while we were walking the dog, i took pics loh and passed my dog to Rach who was being walked by the dogs...hahah..and the dog leashes kept getting tangled up.

After a short walk, we took em back to bath em except Wei Gui who became the temporary cameraman. After bathing them we need to dry em so we put the leash on the side wall. Jo was the last to finish bathing her dog so when she went to dry hers, Wei Gui's dog jumped on her and started slobbering all her all over...damn funny man...you should have been there...it literally climbed on her to lick her all over her face...aahahahahaha...xD...

After that, Wei Gui went to buy drinks for all of us while we choose dogs from another pen and walked em. This time everyone's dog was fine. Except mine. Damn dog would walk a few steps and just STOP in the middle of the freakin hot sun and just sit or lie down and look around. Had to keep pulling her for like 10 mins after everyone got back. When i got back I asked Jo to help me wash her...haha...

Finally done, we went into the puppy pen to play with em. The puppies all damn cute. Got one white fella like to bite one. Anything also bite. Rach had her eyes on this small cute puppy so i picked 'em up for her. She was playing with the little fella for a while until the pther puppies started paying attention to her. It was like 4 or 5 puppies coming up to her and she was screaming and climbed up onto the pen wall. Her slipper then dropped and the puppies carried it away and started playing tug of war with it. And knowing Rach, she started screaming even more. Jo on the other hand was mothering the little puppies. Cradling them, talking to them, babying them. Wei Gui was just playing with them (wonder if his allergies kicked in) and I was snapping away.

After that we went for one more round. When we came back we saw some workers playing with their pet monkey. Damn cute. The guy put his head to the cage and it started looking though his hair. Wei Gui also wanted to try and ended up spending some time with the monkey and shaking its hand. By that time, Rach's dad came and took us back to BJ for lunch where we were going to meet Cai and Cent.

After tanjung we went for cendol then Rach went to get cup noodles and we went to 99 to get my ice cream potong. Somehow we ended up next door, the new shop - Save More. Bought a can of laici for a buck (damn cheap). We then headed off to Cai's house for PS3 and air cond. Jo played Saint's Row 2. Wow she was totally different man. Damn sadistic. She went around slicing and stabbing pedestrians with a katana. When Rach started playing, Jo played GTA on the PSP and started beating up pedestrians with a baseball bat. Rach on the other hand kept crashing planes.By bout 4 sumthin, Rach's mum came and took her and Jo home. Wei Gui cycled home. I walked back and Cent stayed at Cai's for a while longer.

When my mom came home we went out to Pavilion. I wanted to go to canon to see the lens i wanted to buy. Canon EF 70-200 f2.8L. Freakin nice man. Picture also syok gila. But freakin EXPANSIVE!!! 6K man!!! So I settled on getting the Canon EF 70-200 f4L. Cheaper alternative. Bout half the price. Haven't bought it yet though. Soon. Soon it will be mine.....Oh, looked at the 5D mk ii also. Damn nice. 10 freakin thousand!!! Thinking of selling of the 1D mk ii to buy it. haiz...got to wait and see.

My First Post

hahaha 1st post...xD...ahahaha...finally got about creating my blog. wonder what im gona put inside?...hmmm...went to paws to day, but thats another story. I GOT A BLOG *stares in disbelief* anyway, is it that great? showing off what happens to me...hmmm we'll see...ahahaha... blablabla and more crap... for anyone who wana noes bout paws...ill tell u later bout it...need to try to remember what happed today...xD
